2. Decide on the desired drop (the distance from the table edge to the floor).
3. For the tablecloth width, add twice the desired drop to the table width.
4. For the tablecloth length, add twice the desired drop to the table length.

For example, if your table is 30" x 72" and you want a 30" drop, the tablecloth should be 90" x 132".
